Aaron Marcantel and Lenore Daily

On the extremely hot and sunny evening of July 11, Paul Daily, founder of the Wild Horse Ministries, came down to the Pincher Creek Agricultural Grounds to demonstrate gentling an unbroken horse, which was provided by Ryan Hofer. As Paul worked over the horse he demonstrated how it was an allegory for accepting God into your life, which he calls the 'Round Pen of Life'.
“(This horse) is a mirror with hair on it,” said Paul, explaining how he sees himself in the animals he works with.
Paul was assisted in training the horse by family members Lenore Daily and Aaron Marcantel. The event was sponsored by the Heartland Cowboy Fellowship. Free bottled water was offered to thirsty members of the audience.

“I’m not a preacher; I’m just a happy customer,” said Paul with a smile “God turned my life around with a horse.”
Following the gentling of the horse, Lenore gave an impassioned speech about the selfless sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross. Paul then led a prayer circle in the round pen, which the audience was invited to join in. Mark Smith closed the ceremony off, and delivered the final words of the evening.

Great! - I can hardly wait for the Wide-mouth Bass Ministries - or maybe the Gator-wrasslin' Ministries (whoa! - they're probably already out there!) Praise the Lord and pass the bait.....
ReplyDeleteAnd, of editorial note, Jesus Christ indeed made no such sacrifice on the crucifix, as he would have to have been a very tiny person, the crucifix being merely a small representational model of the actual scaffold to which he was purportedly nailed by the Romans for alleged sedition against the Empire. Might as well be accurate about such things.
Canada to date, is a wonderful and glorious place to live, where everyone of all size, shapes and gender are able to live and share of our freedoms and prosperity. It is great to see that people of all beliefs have been able to live together and compliment each other, in order to achieve that goal. Will we continue to live in Peace and Harmony towards a better world? Let us hope so, as the alternative is not very appealing! Let us also be thankful for the horse that has served us for 100's of years, the fish that have fed us for eons, and the air we breath that sustains us. Have a great life everyone, building and appreciating community everywhere! Let us celebrate everyday no matter what we believe, as the world continues to turn whether we are on it or not!
ReplyDelete*pssst* hey Phil, I don't want to alarm you but your animosity is showing, you might want to zip up.
ReplyDeleteIt is also unbecoming a reporter to be such a troll in regards to grammar and diction.
Your opinions are known, but now so is your anger and true bias.
