On a haunting Halloween evening, the Midget Huskies hosted Chestermere’s Lakers at the MCC Arena in Pincher Creek. It looked like a close game coming out of the first period, but as the Huskies successfully defended their lead the Lakers' priorities shifted. The Lakers faced sixteen minutes of penalties in the third period, and the result was a slew of goals made by the Huskies in the final minutes of the game.
Editor's note: Jason Creighton is out for a month with a broken hand from a slash and Sam Gerrand was concussed by a vicious hit in the final seconds of the game against the Lakers.
