RCMP Alberta - The RCMP have been responding to vehicles getting stuck and vehicles in the ditch on Highway 40 between Hinton and Grande Cache. Due to heavy snowfall in the area, road conditions are extremely poor and the RCMP are not recommending travel in this area. If possible, use an alternate route to get north of Hinton or south of Grande Cache.
