2016 Youth Basketball Tourney held at Piikani Community Hall

Piitaapoyi - The Youth Basketball Tourney was held May 21, 2016 at the Piikani Community Hall with approximately sixty youth registered between the ages of 12 to 21. Each player registered received a t-shirt and lunch coupon and their names were drawn to form six teams. The event’s theme “Passing It To The Next Generation” opened up with a blessing and honor song from Morris Little Wolf, Piikani Elder and opening remarks from Peter Strikes With A Gun, Elder/Piitaapoyi Member.
