B&Es and theft of holiday trailer near Monarch

Alberta RCMP - Sometime during the evening of April 28, 2017 and the morning of April 29, 2017 unknown persons entered into the fenced storage facility located at Highway RV Storage on Highway 3 west of Highway 3A near Monarch, Alberta. A white 2005 Pilgrim 237RK-S travel trailer was stolen from the compound. The trailer is 28' long tow behind trailer with a pull out and awning on the driver's side.

Several other vehicles and trailers parked at this location were broken into and rummaged through.

Tire rims stolen from Monarch area property

RCMP Alberta - On February 22, 2017, the Fort Macleod RCMP received a report of stolen truck tires and rims from a rural property north of Monarch, AB. The theft took place between January 22, 2017 and February 21, 2017. KX rims are aluminum high shine with 7 oblong holes with Federal Couragia AT Tires, size 265 70R 17. Serious injury single vehicle rollover on Hwy 3 near Monarch

RCMP Alberta - On Dec. 23, 2016 at 7:20 p.m. Coaldale RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover collision on Highway 3 near Monarch. The vehicle, an older pickup truck, lost control on the eastbound lanes of Highway 3 eventually rolling a number of times coming to a rest on the centre median.

Numerous collisions on Highway 3 at Highway 3A (update)

RCMP Lethbridge

On December 24, 2015 at around 11:40 am there was a three vehicle collision on the eastbound lanes of Highway 3 just east of the junction with Highway 3A. Lethbridge/Coaldale RCMP, Lethbridge Integrated Traffic Unit along with the Coalhurst Fire Department and other emergency services attended to this scene. It was determined a small car and SUV collided and the SUV continued forward into the rear end of a snow plow. There was little to no damage to the snow plow. The road conditions at the time were poor with blowing snow and snow/ice covered roads. This collision resulted in minor injuries to an occupant of the SUV.
