Government of Alberta - The province is building on the life-saving work of the Minister’s Opioid Emergency Response Commission by extending its term for another 18 months. In the past year since the commission was created, the province has opened thousands of new treatment spaces, established supervised consumption services and supported opioid awareness programs.
