Bragg Creek senior attacked with sword

RCMP Alberta - An elderly female was taken to hospital following a serious assault at a residence in Bragg Creek, AB earlier today. Police attended the residence at approximately 12:45 am after reports that the victim had been attacked with a sword by another occupant of the house. The victim was taken to an area hospital where she remains in serious condition. The 19 year old male suspect in this case was known to the victim and has been taken into custody. There are presently no concerns for public safety. Investigation into this matter is in the preliminary stages and will continue throughout the day.

Armed robbery in Bragg Creek, suspect sought

RCMP Alberta - On December 1, 2017 between 3:20 and 3:30 pm, a lone male entered the ATB Financial in Bragg Creek, AB. He presented the tellers with a gun and demanded money. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The male has been described as wearing a mask, a blue jacket with a fur hood and blue pants. It is believed he may be related to a red Pontiac Grand Am that was seen in Bragg Creek around the same time.

Theft and vehicular assault in Bragg Creek area

RCMP Alberta - Cochrane RCMP are requesting the publics assistance locating the owner of a vehicle involved in a crime in the Bragg Creek area. On January 28th ,2017 at approx 10:00 pm unknown suspect(s) driving a Toyota FJ cruiser were seen stealing 2 guitars outside the Bragg Creek Community Centre. The owner of the guitar attempted to stop the theft and was struck by the Toyota. The Toyota did not remain on scene and threw the guitars out onto the road a short distance away. The victim was taken to a Calgary hospital with a possible head injury.
