Vista Village held their Annual Tea and Bazaar during the afternoon of Wednesday, October 22, 2014.  The dining areas were packed to overflowing.  People enjoyed tea with sandwiches and squares, and shopped at the Bazaar down the hallway that was lined with jams, jellies, preserves, baking, handicrafts, Christmas decorations and other assorted items that had been donated to the sale.

"What a wonderful response from the community," said Vista Village Recreation and Volunteer Coordinator Mel Walker, who thanked everyone for coming out and those that had donated time, goods or their service.  The money raised from the tea, bazaar, and raffle goes to the Vista Village Residents Activity Fund to be used throughout the year.

Betty Keehn won the $150 gift certificate, Brenda Whyte won the 32" television and Lucas McGilvery won the Winter Wonderland quilt from the raffle.
