On September 6, 2014 Pincher Creek RCMP attended a fatal single vehicle rollover on highway 507 five kilometres east of Pincher Creek. A single vehicle was westbound on 507 when it left the road and rolled through the road ditch and came to rest in the south field.
49 yr old Shelly Lee DUNBAR was found deceased on scene after being ejected from the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation Joseph Jean-Rene RICHARD, 40 yrs old, has been charged with Impaired Driving Causing Death, Refusing to provide blood upon Demand, Dangerous Driving Causing Death.
Neither occupant is believed to have been wearing a seatbelt.
Joseph Jean-Rene RICHARD was released to appear on November 18, 2014 in Pincher Creek Provincial Court.
