Pincher Creek faced Pincher Creek in a game held in the Matthew Halton High School Gym on Tuesday, October 21. Girls Volleyball Junior A and Junior B teams for the Matthew Halton Hawks and the St. Michael's Dragons split the gym and played simultaneously

The A teams are made up of more mature girls, up to and including grade 7 - 9.  The B teams have students that are in grades 7 and 8.  The Dragons won both the A and B games, with the A Hawks girls winning the first set, which went to 26 points. In the B Girls game the Dragons took all three sets by a wide margin.

The benches were filled with enthusiast fans and there was a lot of good volleys on both sides of the net, on both sides of the gym and good sportsmanship shown by the players.

Sabres vs Cobras

Livingstone's Junior Girls Sabres hosted Claresholm's Cobras for a sporting volleyball game on the evening of October 21.  The Sabres were victorious in all three sets, winning each by a convincing margin.
