Update March 21, 10:24 pm: Sabres lose the second of their Provincials Games, defeated 74-64 by Rosemary. The Sabres will play for Bronze* tomorrow March 22 at 5:30 pm. Rosemary will play for Gold at 7:30 pm.
Update March 21, 3:20 pm: Sabres win the second of their Provincials Games after edging Holy Trinity 70-66. The Sabres play again this evening at 8:45. The winner of that game will play in the Gold medal game tomorrow.

Yesterday March 20 Livingstone School's Senior Boys Sabres basketball team defeated the Hines Creek Tigers at their first game of the Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA) 1A Boys Provincials currently underway in Glendon, a village north of St. Paul.
The Sabres had a slight 19-15 lead at the end of the first quarter, pulled further ahead to 43-30 at the half, had a very strong third quarter where they outscored the Tigers 29-13, and lost the final quarter 22-19. still ahead 91-65 for the win.

The Sabres will play Holy Trinity today, March 21, at 1:45 pm. The winner of that game will play again at 8:45 pm. The loser of that game will play again at 10:15 am on Saturday, March 22. Finals begin with the Consolation game at 3:30 pm on Saturday.
Trivia: Glendon is noted for being home of a 27 foot tall Giant Pyrogy, complete with fork.
