Pincher Creek's Parent Link Family Center hosted Lego League Friday, January 10 at their Ranchland Mall location.   There were regulars and some new faces making creations.

Lego League January 10, 2014

Over the holidays the staff and volunteers took advantage of the time that was free of programming in the centre to remove part of a wall between two rooms to make one maximized space.

The idea was to open it up to allow for a mixed play area.  After the wall was down, it was framed and painted to allow larger groups to use the space.  Most of the kids liked the change.

Alison and Amy designed a maze game, and played with it.
Once the wall construction was done staff put up a large mural in one of the areas.  This is the backdrop used in many of these photos.  Other anticipated changes include extra shelving and seating areas.

Lego League is free and open to anyone from the ages of 6 - 12 and is held on Fridays from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.  Parents are encouraged to come and enjoy this creative activity with their children.
