Sr. Girls Dragons volleyball team travels to Milk River for Zones

The Sr. High Dragons Girls volleyball team was in Milk River this past weekend for Zones.

We forced a one game to 25 playoff between Foremost and ourselves because we beat Erle Rivers (2nd place ranking). We were the only team to beat Milk River in the Round Robin.


We lost in the playoff game vs. Foremost but played well (25-21).

We were 2-1 in the round robin play and there was a 3 way tie for first place. This is why we had a playoff game.

The girls played probably their best game as a team in the 2-3 years I have coached them. To beat a team ranked 2nd when you are ranked 5th is a great feat!

We would have ended 5th overall in Zones, out of 8 teams.
