The Ford Canada Drive One 4UR School fundraiser returned for a second year to the Ranchland Mall parking lot on Saturday, September 21.

Last week representatives from Matthew Halton High School Booster Club and Friends of St. Michael's met at Castle Ford in Pincher Creek to pick up some loot from Ford Canada.  A $5,540 dollar cheque was presented to be split evenly between the two school organizations.   That's an increase over the $5,260 raised at last year's iteration of the event.

Because one of the test drive participants also bought a vehicle, Castle Ford  chipped in another $200 to St. Michael's School, the school of that participant's choice.  Her choice was probably pretty easy, since the vehicle buyer was Judy Lane.  Lane was recently acclaimed Trustee for Holy Spirit School Board Ward 4, of which St. Michael's School is a part.
