The Pincher Creek Parade of Lights and Moonlight Madness was held on Friday, November 15 by the Pincher Creek and District Chamber of Commerce and Communities in Bloom. The event was highlighted by the Parade of Lights, and warm weather.
A string of brightly lit floats left the Ranchland Mall parking lot to travel down the hill and along the recently decorated Main Street at 6:30 pm. The final float of the parade was a festive fire engine carrying Santa Claus himself. The jolly bearded chap cut back after the parade, fire engine and all, to give out some presents and have some hot chocolate with the kids hanging out at Cenotaph Park. Pincher Creek Emergency Services personnel kept the hot liquids flowing and the fire safely stoked for the warmest Parade of Lights in recent memory.

Over 120 people attended ‘Come and Play’ at Parent Link. Glitter tattoos, face painting, balloon making, and a craft table at the Pincher Creek Chamber 'Wind, Fun, and More' store helped round out the Ranchland Mall offerings. New storefronts for Crow Signs and In Style Salon attracted a fair bit of attention as well.

The big event up at the mall was the balloon drop at 8:00 pm. A great roar came from the crowd that was scrambling to get a prized balloon when the balloons dropped. Each balloon held a prize donated by a business within the mall.
Dyllan Turnbull, Cam Little and Bryce Conley enjoyed the balloon drop, and were willing to pose for Toni's camera.
