Chris Davis, Pincher Creek Voice with Kim Jorgenson

The Pincher Creek Dolphin Swim Club participate in the Fort Macleod Sharks Swim Meet on July 19 and at the Crowsnest Pass Piranhas John Irwin Invitational Swim Meet on July 26.  Since then they've been preparing for the Alberta Summer Swimming Association (ASSA) Regionals, which will be held in Lethbridge starting this Friday August 9, continuing through the weekend.

At the Fort Macleod meet the Dolphins emerged Second in net points and Second in gross points, a feat they repeated at the Crowsnest meet.

Dolphins achieved 51 personal best times at the Fort Macleod meet and 37 personal best times at the Crowsnest meet, encouraging as these were the last regular meets of the season.  Christopher Alexander established a new Dolphins club record in the 400 Freestyle at the Fort Macleod meet with a time of 5:07.87.  He also established a new Dolphins club record in the 1500 Freestyle at the Crowsnest meet with a time of 20:36.54, also his first-ever time for that event.  Taylor Liscombe established a new Dolphins club record in the 50 Fly with a time of 42.85 at the Fort Macleod meet.
