- One raffle ends and another begins

Windy Slopes Health Foundation’s Vacation a Month Raffle 2 is now history. Lorene Robertson of Pincher Creek won the August prize package, a seven day resort getaway for two in Veradero Cuba, while Keith Tkachuk of Blairmore won the $100 cash draw.
The first draw in Vacation a Month 3 comes up September 4, and tickets are already being snapped up. “We’re kicking it off with a trip for two to Halifax, but that’s just the start,” said Donna Schauerte, Windy Slopes Health Foundation Chair. “There’s lots of great new destinations like Honolulu, London England and a fishing trip to Campbell River, another Cuban resort vacation and repeat favourites like Palm Springs. We aim to have something for everyone’s travel tastes.”
Tickets are still $100, with a new option this year to buy 3 for $200. Tickets are on sale at Pincher Creek Health Centre and “…as always, all proceeds support our local hospital”, Schauerte said. “That’s what the Foundation is all about.”
