Recreation Manager Adam Grose
Chris Davis, Pincher Creek Voice

Adam Grose is now officially the Town of Pincher Creek's Recreation Manager after acting in that role since October 2012.  He has a long history with recreation in Pincher Creek, having been the Aquatic Director for about six years.  In his new role he looks after the pool, the MCC Arena, facilities, staff, ordering, policies, procedures, and scheduling.

He cites the people working for the Recreation department as being one of the joys of his job. "It's a really good staff to be working with."

Grose also touted some of the ongoing programs and upcoming events at the pool, including the new Aquatic Boot Camp which offers a full-bodyworkout in the water and on dry land on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Noon to 1:00 pm and on Wednesday mornings form 6:00 am to 7:00 am.  Childcare for children over 18 months old is available to participants at very reasonable prices.

Pincher Creek's Dolphins will be holding their first swim meet June 1, and every Saturday after that until Regionals and Provincials in August.  "I forsee a lot of Dolphins making it to Provincials this year," said Grose.

The pool will also be setting up the giant pool toy for free on Mondays in June from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at no additional charge.

The pool is open year-round with different programming depending on the season, day and time.  For schedule information call 403-627-4062 and for more information call 403-627-2565.

The Pool schedule is available online at this Town of Pincher Creek link (click here).
