The area from the lobby of the Pincher Creek Arena to the lobby of the Pincher Creek Pool was filled with Fort Macleod Sharks, Lethbridge Orcas, Brooks Barracudas, Nanton Marlins, Crowsnest Pass Piranhas, Taber Vipers, Claresholm Krakens, and Pincher Creek Dolphins last weekend. Each club hosts a meet through the summer, and on Friday and Saturday June 1 and 2 it was the Pincher Creek Dolphins' turn.
According to Dolphins Meet Manager Kim Jorgenson there were 195 kids that participated in the weekend, for a total of 700 races. Swimmers ranging from 8 and under to 17 years old participated.

"It's really exciting, and a great time," said Jorgenson. The workings of the meet itself went like clockwork, with participants going from their camp-out point to the pool marshalling areas where they lined up and got ready to get into their proper lanes and races. The races themselves were efficient and well managed. Once the kids were out of the pool again, their exuberance and excitement were clearly visible.
Puck Drop winner Ronan Gelber
of the Pincher Creek Dolphins
Ronan Gelber won $135 in the Puck Drop before the races started on Saturday afternoon. Ronan is in the 8 and under Boys Dolphins. What he likes best about being in the club is "Swimming with my best friend, and having fun."
A good time was had by those that attended, and many of the participants got to walk away holding a medal, as well as a participant ribbon.
Lethbridge Orca Harrison accepted the awards for his team ,
who were both Net and Gross Point Aggregate winners
The Lethbridge Orcas had a great meet, taking home both plaques, one for Net Point Aggregate, and the other for the Gross Point Aggregate with 20,019 points.
