On the evening of Friday, November 4 the Pincher Creek Mustangs football club held their annual awards ceremony, capping off a year of exciting firsts for the organization. The Co-op generously donated the use of the old Fields store at the Ranchland Mall for the event. Tom Holoboff and Bruce Buckingham helped decorate the room with banners emblazoned with "Mustangs" in Mustang-blue. An amazing smorgasbord was laid out, with the families of Mustangs players laying out enough food and then some to feed the large crowd gathered for the evening. After dinner it was time to begin the ceremony. Faith Zachar, President of the Pincher Creek Football Boosters Association, opened the evening with a couple of presentations before surrendering the stage to the Pee Wee Mustangs coaches.

Faith Zachar was visibly moved by the attention shown her for her involvement with the team over the last 17 years. Teigan Lissel brought up his team to present the long time Mustang supporter and organizer with tokens of appreciation from the teams. Zachar recieved a standing ovation from the crowd.
