The Town of Pincher Creek declared Wednesday, March 11 Jersey Day in support of the Pincher Creek nomination for the Kraft Hockeyville contest. Local citizens showed their support with colour and flair. Businesses, centres, schools, and individuals all participated making it a brighter day around the town. Whether it was a new jersey, retro, or a collectible it showed the spirit this community has when everyone pulls together. To help support the bid you can post hockey related (or Hockeyville related) pictures and comments on Instagram or Twitter with the hastag #khv_pinchercreek. The next phase of the contest will be narrowed to 10 communities across Canada that will be vying for a $100,000 upgrade to their hockey facility. That top 10 will be announced Saturday, March 14.
