Piikani Nation Chief and Council has announced that the next Piikani Nation election will be held on January 8, 2015. Lowa Beebe has been appointed Chief Electoral officer. The nominating meeting will be held December 11 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and voting will take place between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm on January 8, with both events to be held at the Community Hall in Brocket. Piikani council will be composed of 8 councillors and one Chief.
