Response to panhandlers complaint letter

My name is Duane Filipuzzi and I have witnessed much worse than just panhandling. I recently have seen drug deals transpire, had encounters with extremely intoxicated individuals, two of which entered our office causing issues, and I've seen posts on Facebook of someone exposing himself and urinating on the 7-11 front window. Unfortunately all of these individuals where First Nations people, of which I sympathize with their situation.  However to the best of my knowledge loitering, being intoxicated in public, exposing yourself in public, urinating in public and selling drugs are all against the law, regardless of one's ethnic background.

These individuals frighten our children and make our main street feel unsafe, which is not acceptable under any circumstance.
