Nominations open for 2015 Great Kids Awards

Anyone who wants to recognize a kid age 5-18 for their outstanding determination, generosity, and compassion should visit greatkids.alberta.ca or call 780-415-8150 (toll-free by first dialing 310-0000).

We need to celebrate Alberta’s children and youth for doing great things every day – at home, at school, and in their communities.” - Heather Klimchuk, Minister of Human Services

Sixteen award winners will be honoured with their award at the 15th Annual Great Kids Awards in Edmonton. The winners along with their families will enjoy a night’s stay at the Fantasyland Hotel, passes to West Edmonton Mall attractions, and more.

The award winners will also receive a trophy from the Ministry of Human Services and prize donated by a corporate sponsor. The Fantasyland Hotel generously donates the venue and celebratory luncheon. All nominees will receive a certificate of recognition from the Minister of Human Services.

The nomination deadline is December 9, 2014 at 4:00 pm.
