There was a by-election in the Village of Cowley September 22, 2014 after former Mayor Linda Findlater resigned. The administration of Cowley has announced the disposition of their council. Mayor Garry Hackler, Deputy Mayor Monika Schneider and Councillor Warren Mickels. Mickels was the councillor most recently voted to council.
