Old fashioned fun at KBPV Harvest Festival

Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village (KBPV) held their annual Harvest Festival September 13th. The morning started out with pancake breakfast and went into fun activities for the family. There was rope making, and build your own wooden train for the kids that wanted to do some hands on activities, and a bouncy tent in the shape of a train for those kids that just had to blow off some steam of their own.

There was music, face painting, exhibits, and antique cars to add to the excitement of the day.

Dedicated volunteer Tomas Scherger and his cohort Laura Fredricks ran old fashioned carnival games for those that wanted to take a chance to win a prize.

 "We designed this to be an old fashioned community harvest festival, where people of all ages can get together and celebrate," said KBPV President Colleen Cyr.
