Bantam Mustangs host Cardston

Pincher Creek's Bantam Mustangs hosted Cardston's Cougars at Matthew Halton field on the evening of September 18 for an exhibition game that unfortunately went horribly wrong for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs suffered several injuries during the game, the Cougars were well ahead, and then the game ended prematurely when Mustangs running back Jordan Hochstein suffered a broken leg after giving 100% out there the whole time.  He's likely off the field for the season, but it's a safe bet he'll still be contributing to the team.  No word yet on a possible nickname change from "Hands" to "Hopalong" Hochstein.  Jordan's one of our town's most talented athletes, we hope he heals sooner rather than later.
