Accident between train and vehicle near Brocket sends two to hospital

Piikani RCMP, Piikani ambulance and Pincher Creek Ambulance responded to an accident involving a train and a vehicle east of the town of Brocket on Range Road 282 at approximately 7:30 pm on Thursday September 18.  The westbound train struck a northbound vehicle injuring both men that were in the vehicle.  Sgt. Ray Starzynsky of the Piikani RCMP reported that both men were still in hospital in stable condition, and that the incident is currently under investigation.
