The third annual Pincher Creek Trade Show took place on Friday September 5, and Saturday, September 6 at the MCC Arena. "We have had a very good response", said Chamber of Commerce Administrator Lieve Parisis, one of the main organizers for this event every year. "It's been growing every year, and this year we actually had a waiting list. There is just over 90 booths in there."

"There are quite a few new vendors, and not just from local and southern Alberta, but further away as well," Parisis explained. "There is hot tubs, enclosures, jewelry, clothing... There is many new and exciting products to discover, for sure."

People were perusing the many booths, kids were getting their faces painted, and there was a chance for many businesses and not for profits to show there wares and get some public exposure.

One 'booth' did not quite fit into the arena area. 'Stuff the Bus With School Supplies' was parked in front of the arena, and gathered a lot of attention. This is a joint fundraiser with First Student and Pincher Creek Office Products to gather much needed school supplies for kids in the area that may not have all that they need.
