Pincher Creek Emergency Services (PCES) personnel responded to two fire incidents recently.
During the middle of the afternoon on Monday, July 14, a bailing machine caught fire approximately 8 miles northeast of the Village of Cowley. PCES Dave Cox said that the incident was easily contained with only minor damage to the equipment.
During the afternoon of the following day, Tuesday, July 15, a power pole caught fire west of Highway 775, north of Beauvais Lake. Beaver Mines Fire Department responded and the situation was quickly and easily contained.
