Pincher Creek's U12 PC1 and PC2 soccer teams met and mingled with each other on the field behind the swimming pool for a friendly game on Wednesday, June 11. This game marked the end of the home games for both teams while they still travel to finish  their season.  The weather was warm, the sun was shining and the athletes on both teams were ready to take it to the goal.

The two teams were created by PC2 Coach Lisa Stuckey. She plays fair and it showed in the game, which was tied 3 - 3 for much of the second half. About five minutes before the final whistle PC1 scored the final goal of the day, earning them a squeaker 4 - 3 victory.

Rylen and Logan were in goal for PC1 and PC2 had Kalvin and Connor defending the net.

"It was really close, it's a very well balanced team, the way Lisa's divided them up" said Coach Gayle MacIntyre. "The kids have been great. They had fun and worked really hard. I really enjoyed being with them a lot." MacIntyre made sure the kids on both teams had the chance to go for slurpees after the game.
