Pincher Creek U12-1 met with Elkford on the field behind the Pincher Creek Swimming Pool on a chilly Wednesday evening, June 4. Elkford brought their A game, and pushed Pincher Creek into a defensive stance for most of the game.  Valiant efforts from both teams,  but Elkford was the ultimate victor, shutting out Pincher Creek.

"It's been in line with what we've had so far, we have had a perfect season, said Elkford Coach Mark Spittael. "This is a good generation. A lot of the older kids, and a lot of gifted players on this team."

"They are doing well," said Pincher Creek Coach Lisa Stuckey who has been with the same team of kids since they first started in soccer, moving up with them. "This is our fourth game I think, and they have been doing awesome. We've tied the other Pincher team, we tied the Pass, we won against Sparwood. They've done well."
