Pincher Creek Co-op held their annual Customer Appreciation Barbecue at the Farm and Home Centre Friday June 13. "It is a contractor and customer appreciation thing," said Co-op Home and Building Supplies Manger Owen Sinclair. "We thought why don't we try to get everybody in at the same time? Get the customers talking with the people that supply our product first hand."

"It was well put together. The staff has been great, and there was excellent participation from the vendors," said Sinclair who liked that the the large open area never made it feel crowded.

"So far, we've had no rain, so we got pretty lucky," said Co-op Petroleum Manger Dan Sibbald. The staff had planned for rain or shine, with booths and picnic tables set up inside and outside. "It was a pretty good day, everybody seemed pretty happy."
