Livingstone School Principal Terri Donald and Governor General's Bronze Medal recipient Reagan Bousquet
"We have a lot to be celebratory about tonight," said Livingstone School Assistant Principal Mary Krizan during her opening remarks at the school's 2014 Academic and Athletic Awards Night, an event held on the evening of June 5. Mrs. Krizan once again acted as Master of Ceremonies.
She introduced and thanked the Livingstone Awards Committee, composed of Sue-Anne Uphill, Tanya Douglas, Joanne Verbaas, Tracey Preston-Hucik, and Karen Paton. She also thanked the decorating committee and all those that came to present awards. After the singing of 'O Canada' she quickly moved from preamble to the main event, saying "We want to acknowledge excellence as many of our students as we can."
The evening was divided into two parts. Junior High Awards were first, then an intermission with refreshments freely provided to those in attendance, and then came the Senior High Awards.
