Amber Alert for abducted Calgary child cancelled

A nine-month-old Calgary boy abducted by his father on Friday evening has been found safe and in good health.

The child was located in Riverbend at approximately 4:30 a.m., today, Saturday, June 28, 2014, after associates of the suspect called police. The child was taken from a northeast parking lot in the 2400 block of 37 Avenue N.E., around 8 pm.

The suspect in this case is also in police custody. Charges against him are pending.
