Lundbreck's Windsor Centre was the site of a Mother's Day Tea yesterday, May 10.

A men's cake contest preceeded the serving of tea, sandwiches, and cake.  George Dowson was named the winner of the contest.  Ron Sekella didn't fare as well, despite only droppng his cake "several times" during the baking process.  By the time I got there most of the cakes had vanished, but I was able to sample Ron's, and while it may not have been the most picturesque of the offerings, it was still moistly delicious.

"We had seven people come from Lundbreck High School to help us out, and that was great," explained George Dowson.  "They did a marvelous job serving."

"A fabulous job," concurred Betty Ozar.

Approximately 40 people attended.  They enjoyed the tea and the good conversation that went with it.

Money raised by the event will go toward the Windsor Centre.  "I guess we're getting ready for spring, and hopefully, it comes!" said George.
