At their April 22 meeting, council for the MD of Pincher Creek No. 9 agreed to renew the MD's membership in the Oldman Watershed Council. The MD will contribute $0.30 per resident for a total of $992.00, with the money coming from the MD's account for Grants to Groups and Organizations.
The Oldman Watershed Council is a not-for-profit community based organization mandated to mediate various challenges to the environment, balanced against economic, cultural and social needs.
