One team of Boys and one Girls team from each of the categories of Bantam Junior and Senior from each zone compete for the chance to go to Provincials. "I'm honoured to host it," said Chinook Lanes Bowling Manager Denise Somerville. "It's a big deal for a small house to be given a zone tournament of any kind."

Somerville was excited to later announce that the Pincher Creek Bantam Girls are going to the Provincials in Edmonton on March 2, 2014 to represent the south zone.
