Junior A Girls Basketball - Hawks defeat Sabres

2013/14 Halton Jr. A Girls Hawks Basketball Team

Toni Lucas - On Tuesday evening February 8 Matthew Halton Junior Hawks A Girls basketball team hosted the Livingstone Sabres. The Hawks won by a wide margin.

The Junior A Hawks were more skilled with their ball handling and more consistent with their plays. Livingstone had some great moments when they were executing plays as a team, but the polish is not quite there yet. Tessa and Katie were the high scorers for Livingstone.   High scorer for the Hawks, no surprise, was Maia.  Leigh had a good game, nice to see her put some points on the board.

Final score  Hawks 53, Sabres 17

During the half time break a future Hawk took to the court. Georgia, sister of Grace, toddled along to see what all the excitement was about.
