St. Michael's Senior Girls Dragons basketball team hosted the Crowsnest Pass Consolidated High Pandas on Wednesday, January 29. The action was swift throughout the game,  which the Dragons won 57 - 25.

Dragons Rebecca Lowry and Jayden Kennedy dominated the scoring in the first quarter, and the Dragons held the Pandas to 2 points.

The Pandas did not give up, and with good teamwork they did climb in points during the second and third quarter, narrowing the gap  to 45 - 21. Pandas Raegan Jackson and Dakota la Duke scored the bulk of their points, and both young ladies demonstrated a fierce spirit throughout the game.

"We all did pretty well tonight, we got to work on lots of stuff and everyone got to play a lot," said Dragons Team Captain Tamara Parkin. "The Pass played well, it was a good competition. They have improved since we've played them last."

Next up for the Dragons team is a tournament in Riley on Friday, January 31.
