Innisfail stolen vehicle investigation leads to multiple charges

On January 26, 2014 just after midnight, RCMP Innisfail arrested 2 men in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation on 47 Avenue in Innisfail, Alberta. A search of the occupants and vehicle resulted in the seizure of a loaded sawed off shotgun (within reach of both occupants), a police baton, a knife, ammunition, Canadian currency, a digital scale, 2 cell phones,  along with a quantity of methamphetamine (crystal meth), heroin, cocaine and Oxycodone. A second shotgun was also seized out of the trunk of the vehicle. Two Central Alberta men are being held in custody facing charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and Oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of a loaded prohibited weapon. 20 year old Stephen FEAVER is also charged possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of proceeds of crime. 41 year old Brian PALOMAKI is also charged with breach of an undertaking.
As Alberta's provincial police force our primary goal is to safe homes and safe communities.

Missing Lac La Biche man found

The Lac La Biche RCMP would like to advise that they have located Mr. Brian McCORMACK, 41 years of age who was previously missing and Police were requesting the publics assistance.

Mr. McCORMACK was located safe earlier today by Police and the Police would like to thank the Lac La Biche Inn for their assistance in this investigation.

The Police would also like to thank the public for their assistance.
