Midget Huskies continue to dominate Spud League after 7-1 win over Magrath Chiefs

Pincher Creek's Midget Huskies hosted Magrath's Chiefs at the MCC arena on Sunday afternoon, January 5.  The two teams are very similar in terms of skills, ability, and style of play, but the Huskies leveraged their stellar teamwork to win the game definitively by a score of 7-1. Huskies Captain Zach Wall announced his return to the ice after a sidelining injury by scoring the first two goals of the game.

Chase Tymchyna neutral zone slapshot... straight in with 57 seconds left on the clock, unassisted.  Beauty.

    Great job as always. Jeremy is the best goalie in Spud League Midget. There are two reasons for this . 1. He is a very good goalie. 2. He has very good defence in front of him. As an old (very old) defenceman I cant help but notice. The only time a defenceman gets noticed is if he screws up or scores a goal.
