The Matthew Halton Hawks Junior B Girls basketball team hosted the F.P. Walshe Flyers from Fort Macleod in Pincher Creek on Thursday evening, December 12.  The Flyers had a ten point lead on the Hawks early into the second period.  The Hawks steadily narrowed that gap throughout the rest of the game until they were only 2 points away from tying it up in the fourth quarter, with 4 minutes remaining in the game.  The Flyers pushed back and won the game 25-21.

Flyers #7 Latisha was the high scorer for her team with an impressive 16 points.  Hawks #7 Mackenzie and #4 Beyonce both scored 10 points.

Both teams appeared to be working on their teamwork abilities.  They both are getting a grasp of the fundamentals and are showing much promise.
