The Christmas Market held at the Pincher Creek Community Hall on Saturday, December 14 was a beehive of activity. There was face-painting on the stage, vendors filled the room with a wide variety of wares, and shoppers enjoying browsing and having snacks at the concession. One of the big draws of course was Santa, who listened as children lined up to tell him what was on their wish lists.

"I've had many vendors say that they've had an amazing day," said organizer Kimberly Hurst. "The parking lot's been full all day. This has been growing every year." Hurst plans on having another Christmas Market next Christmas.

Money and donations were collected to split between the Women's Shelter and the Food Bank. "I think it's important to give back to the community," said Hurst. A number of the vendors privately donated towards these causes at the show.
