Rotary member Dan Crawford presented a cheque in the amount of $1127.50 to Pincher Creek and District Historical Society (PCDHS) President Colleen Cyr on behalf of Pincher Creek Rotary Club.  The presentation was made during the regular Rotary meeting on Wednesday October 9.

The cheque represented proceeds from the Rotary Club's fundraising Duck Race held July 27 earmarked for projects at Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village, which is managed by PCDHS. The Rotary Club split the Duck Race revenue down the middle, with another $1127.50 earmarked for other Rotary endeavours.

"We have a lot of projects at the museum that we work on, on Wednesdays, that's our work day, and we have been doing that for about three years," said Cyr.  "There is about fifteen volunteers that come on Wednesdays because they can and Dan makes a lot of that possible," she continued, explaining that Crawford donates the use of his bobcat.   "That's a decent project just for the cost of the gas and that is just awesome. I want to thank Dan for that because we couldn't do a lot of our projects if we didn't have his help."
