Shenoa Jessen is one of the Pincher Creek Atom Hockey players that participated in the Hockey Skills Camp held on September 28 and 29 in the Pincher Creek Arena.  She has been with Pincher Creek Minor Hockey for 4 years and said she was enjoying all the things the camp offered.

She said that she particularly liked the part where she learned to jump backward and forward as part of her skating session.  "I'll be able to deke others," she said.

Having just finished the part of a day that included an Atoms swim session at the Pincher Creek Pool (now open for the winter, click here for schedule),  Jessen was having her hair untangled by her mom.  "I never cut it, I just trim it," said Jessen about her long Rapunzel-like locks.  She usually wears it in a braid, and wants to grow it longer.  "I think it looks pretty."

Shenoa is also an accomplished equestrian. She was one of the notable representatives of Pincher Creek at the 2013 Southern Alberta Summer Games held in Taber last July, earning Gold in the Equestrian Beginner Rider Classes Walk/Trot Pleasure 16 and Under event, and Silver in Equestrian Pee Wee Keyhole, Poles, Walk/Trot Equitation, and Barrels.
