Pincher Creek library to reopen to the public October 1

The Pincher Creek and District Municipal Library has had a temporary location on Main Street during extensive interior renovations to their regular location which it shares with the MCC Arena and the Pincher Creek Pool at 899 Main Street.    The temporary location was open throughout the summer and will be closed as of 8:00 pm, today, September 12.

Books have been stacked, boxes are prepared and staff is ready to move back into the newly renovated library, which open again on October 1, with a grand opening scheduled for October 19.  "We have been very involved through the whole process," said Head Librarian Janice Day.  She expressed excitement about the renovations, and about being so close to being able to move back in.
