CanSkate Coaches Kim Civiero and Brooke Dorge were on hand to meet with older CanSkate participants  in the Pincher Creek Arena on Saturday September the 28 to discuss the upcoming season.

"Our first day is Monday, we'll see how it goes," said Civiero who also taught the power skating session during the Hockey Skills Camp that was held in the same building.

Civiero and Dorge agreed that figure skating was a great sport, fun exercise, and a good way to make friends.

They will be holding two 45 minute classes a week, and those interested can sign up for one or both of the sessions.  Students have the chance to compete in two to there competitions per year, and perform at the figure skating carnival held in the spring.

Figure skating has arena ice time from 4:45 pm to 7:15 pm on Monday September 30.
