The Pincher Creek and District Chamber of Commerce hosted the Pincher Creek Trade show at the MCC Arena on Main Street on September 6 and 7. "We were just short of selling out the number of booths that we had set," said Chamber President Sharon Roberts. "That's an increase from last year, and that makes up happy. We are thinking of how we can add more booths. We are hoping to add 8 to 10 booths next year."

There were 80 booths available, as well as areas set up for entertainment and demonstrations. "I think that this year we had a better mix. We had a lot of new people, from outside of Pincher Creek, which is always interesting, but we had good local response too," said Roberts. "I think it was a good mix. There was something for everybody, I hope." Although the final attendance numbers were not yet available, Roberts said that "I believe we've increased our numbers substantially over last year."

Chamber Administrator Lieve Parisis was trying to create an event that would have value for everyone. "Attendees said they liked the variety of booths, that there was a good mix of things, and the exhibitors were happy." Sounds like the trade show was a win-win situation.
