Pincher Creek area General Elections 2013 FAQ

A General Election will be held this fall for Town of Pincher Creek and MD of Pincher Creek #9 councils, and for the Livingstone Range and Holy Spirit school boards.  

TOWN OF PINCHER CREEK

• Nomination Day Monday September 23, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. No monetary deposit is required to submit nomination papers.
• Advanced polling Tuesday October 15, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Town Hall
• General Election, Monday October 21, Voting Stations at Pincher Creek Hospital, Vista Village, Crestview Lodge, and Whispering Winds Village
• Organizational Meeting and Swearing In Ceremony, Monday, October 28

HOLY SPIRIT and LIVINGSTONE RANGE SCHOOL BOARDS

• Holy Spirit School Board and Livingstone Range School Board have entered into agreements with The Town of Pincher Creek to share election services and costs, meaning elections for those boards will be held at the same time(s) and place(s) as the Town of Pincher Creek General Election.

MD of PINCHER CREEK #9

• Advanced Poll Wednesday October 16 at the MD Office (753 Kettles Street, Pincher Creek)
• Election Monday October 21

This post will be updated with current and relevant information as it becomes available. 

We will publish interviews with declared candidates (one interview per candidate) after Nomination Day, and candidates are quite welcome to get in touch with us towards that purpose.  For the sake of fairness and balance, each printed interview (or bio) will be limited to 800 words or less.
